The weather is supposed to be good and hopefully we will have another morning like this morning (per photo below). We are expecting a very busy day and in order to help the flow please consider the following:
- If you are able to, please take advantage of the weather and walk (or cycle) to the clinic. If you need to come by car, could you share with a friend / neighbour?
- Please be considerate of our neighbours at the vets and the residents of Maugersbury when driving to / from the surgery.
- The doctors and staff will be parking elsewhere so please take advantage of the whole car park.
We will be closing the surgery doors:
- 10:30am – 11am and
- 12:30pm – 1:30pm
for breaks and replenishment of vaccines etc.
If you arrive early for appointments at 11am and 1.30pm it will be necessary to wait outside.
Please consider your clothing. If you are having both vaccinations, the clinician will need to be able to access both of your arms.
If you are unwell, with a temperature, please don’t attend for your appointment and call us to rearrange.
If you have had Covid recently, there is now no minimum time you should wait before having your vaccination. So long as you are well and have no temperature, you can receive the vaccine.
If you (or someone you care for) severely struggles with their mobility, please let someone know when you arrive, and where possible, we will administer vaccinations in the car.
The Covid vaccination being used is the Pfizer Comirnaty JN-1 vaccine. More information about the vaccine is available on the link below:

The QIVc flu vaccine we have on site can be used for patients with an egg allergy (excepting those with severe anaphylaxis to egg which has previously required intensive care).
The clinic tomorrow is fully booked. If you are eligible for flu / Covid vaccinations and haven’t yet booked an appointment, please give us a call on 01451 83065 and we will make an appointment for you. Please do not turn up to the clinic tomorrow if you do not have an appointment.
