The surgery wished Jean Butler, Practice Nurse (with a special interest in Diabetes) a happy retirement yesterday after she finished work at the surgery following 35 years’ service to the NHS.
Jean worked at the surgery for 8 years after re-locating to the area and has cared for and supported patients with Diabetes and other long term conditions.
She was overwhelmed with flowers and cards yesterday and has asked for us to pass on her thanks to all the patients for their kind thoughts and gestures.
Di Kalus, Specialist Diabetes Nurse will be joining the practice next month on a secondment, to support patients with Diabetes whilst Sophie West, the new, permanent Practice Nurse undertakes her Diabetes training.
