We are extremely pleased to have been chosen to host a community ultrasound clinic at the surgery commencing 19th October. This is an NHS service.
Physiological Measurements Ltd are the provider chosen by Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group to provide ultrasound examinations for the following areas in the county. This is NOT ultrasound for pregnant ladies.
- General Abdominal
- Gynaecology
- Renal/Bladder/Prostate
- Testicular
- Musculoskeletal
- Vascular
Clinics will be held in Stow as well as other locations around the county.
Referrals will be made to the service, as appropriate, by a GP following a traditional consultation but rather than the patient having to travel into Cheltenham, Gloucester or Bishops Cleeve (previously the nearest centre) patients in the North Cotswolds will be able to have the procedure undertaken much closer to home.
